"PADAYA, a yearly agri-aqua and entrepinoy trade fair. The PADAYA is sponsored by Gov. Vicente P. Valera of the Provincial Government with the League of Municipalities of Abra chaired by Bangued Mayor Ma. Zita C. Valera, the Provincial Small & Medium Enterprises Development Council headed by SP Member James Bersamin in collaboration with the Department of Trade & Industry - Abra Provincial Office.
The trade fair showcased the following products: wood & bamboo furniture of varied designs, bamboo baskets & trays, softbrooms, handloom woven products, costume jewelries, bags & other decorative articles and various agri & aqua-based items. Each municipality has its own booth to display and sell its product distinct of its own.
The following are the products of each town under the OTOP program: Sugarcane - Bangued; Atchuete & Coffee - Boliney, Bucloc, Daguioman & Luba; Sweet potatoes & Bamboo - Bucay & Tayum; Rice - Dolores, Manabo & Peñarrubia; Tobacco - Pilar, Villaviciosa & San Isidro; Gold - Malibcong, Lacub & Licuan-Baay; Corn - Pidigan, Langiden & San Quintin; Mango - San Juan, Lagangilang & Danglas; River Fish & Venison - Lagayan & La Paz; and Tiger Grass - Tubo, Sallapadan and Tineg."
