Consistent in keeping its commitment to its proactive stance in contributing positive change, be resorts Mactan, is proud to be a part of this year’s “Count Me In” program as a response to the decline of student turn out in schools with only 6 out of 10 Filipino children finishing grade school. “To address this, World Vision launched the “Count me in!” campaign to get more individuals and groups to sponsor children and be counted among the more than 17,000 existing Filipino sponsors who are changing lives today. “
As a corporate partner, be resorts Mactan shares its “beyond the expected” philosophy by encouraging more people to sponsor children by giving them incentives in the form of discount vouchers to be used and honored as cash when they visit be resorts Mactan. For every child sponsor pledge, an incentive cash voucher will be given to the donor with its corresponding equivalent. Vouchers will be released on a first come, first served basis, until supplies last and will be honored for room accommodation during the entire school year, from June 1, 2011 to March 31, 2012.
