MANILA INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW 2016

The Manila International Auto Show, MIAS holds together the toughest and the fiercest parts and rides in this one grandest gathering of cars, car lovers and drivers. 

With over 500, 000 attendees since 2005, nearly 200 participating companies from the automotive sectors, 500 exhibitors and 400 car display units in the show’s 30,000sqm exhibit area, MIAS is the biggest motoring and driving event in the Philippines held every summer. The 2016 MADE will kick-off through the “Art MADE Public”, a travelling and retrospective exhibition showcasing images of the winning works of past MADE awardees at SM Seaside City Cebu on February 19, 2016, 6:00PM. 

Mallgoers will get to view art pieces by contemporary Filipino artists who are MADE awardees. Two of the main features of the exhibition is an art piece from Cebu based artist, Mr. Darby Alcoseba entitled “Perseverance” which bagged the grand prize title during MADE 2013. And Mr. Nomar Miano, 2006 Grand Prize awardee with his artwork entitled, “Dominance of Value”.

Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) launches the 32nd year of the Metrobank Art & Design Excellence (MADE), one of the most prestigious art & design recognition programs in the country. With the theme “Finding Phenoms in Art”, MADE hails Filipino artistry and creativity through its annual recognition programs for the painters, sculptors, interior designers, and architects.

The exhibit will be featuring Tilt’s and Mist’s paintings and giclee prints incorporating Filipino icons with their graffiti style as what Tilt had done with the Philippine flag which was formed with Filipino text written in his bubble style font in such a manner that reinforces iconographic meaning with his interspersed bubble text, while Mist’s more abstract calligraphic style is a ponderous exercise on font as an organic form evolving into figures with distinct personalities. DAR sets 9th Agraryo Trade Fair

To celebrate the extension of Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP), the Bureau of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Development of the Department of Agrarian Reform will hold the 9th Agraryo Trade Fair at the SM Megamall Megatrade Hall 2 from June 25-27, 2010. 

With the theme “Umuunlad na Kabuhayan, Masaganang Sakahan Tugon sa Globalisasyon at Nagbabagong Klima.” the trade fair will showcase the various products of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) from all over the country to showcase their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.

“The Agraryo Trade Fair, a celebration of the extension of the CARP by Congress last year, will showcase the quality produce of the Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries to highlight the program’s success,” said Agrarian Reform Secretary Nasser Pangandaman.

ARBs will exhibit fresh and processed poultry and meat products, ingredients and additives, beverages, vegetable products, delicacies, jams, candles, packaging materials, furniture, native handicraft, novelty items and organic products, among others.
